We believe childhood should feel joyful, active, and full of chances to explore. Children learn through singing, movement, stories, art, practical activities, and imaginative play. Families are an important part of that experience, and we work closely with parents to help each child feel known, supported, and at home at school.
Our teachers plan hands-on experiences that help children ask questions, solve problems, work with others, and share their ideas. Classrooms are warm, busy places where children build independence, confidence, and curiosity at their own pace.
For more than 50 years, The Preschool Center has helped children take their first steps into school. We help them build the social, emotional, and early learning skills they need for kindergarten while making sure there is plenty of room for fun along the way.
UCC came as a recommendation from a friend, and I'm so glad I took her advice. My son is going into his second year, and he couldn't be more excited. He loves going to school to see his friends and teachers. I love all of the art projects they do with them and listening to him talk about what he learned or did that day! The teachers are amazing and so attentive, not only to the children but to the parents as well. It makes me so happy to see my son happy, and I look forward to Pre-K.

Students, Parents and Teachers Grow Together Here
At The Preschool Center, everything begins with relationships. When families and teachers know and trust one another, children feel it. They feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
Families are part of school life in many ways, from joining classroom activities and school events to connecting with teachers and one another throughout the year. Our teachers share daily moments, celebrate milestones, and guide each child with warmth, experience, and care.

At The Preschool Center, families are part of the fun. Parents visit the classroom to read a favorite book, share a talent, join a field trip, help with a school event, or spend time getting to know the children and teachers.
Parent-teacher conferences give families dedicated time to talk one-on-one with teachers about their child’s growth and experience at school. We also plan more casual gatherings where parents and teachers can connect in a relaxed group setting, ask questions, and share what they are seeing at home and at school.
Throughout the year, we also organize social meetups for parents. These give families a chance to get to know one another, build friendships, and feel part of the wider school community.
We love working closely with families. Children do best when the adults in their lives are connected, communicating, and cheering them on.
We also ask families for feedback each year. Your ideas help us keep improving the program and making it a great place for children to learn and grow.
Our teachers bring the school to life. They create warm, welcoming classrooms where children feel safe, included, curious, and excited to learn.
