Meredith Belden, Assistant Teacher
|
Meredith brings nearly 10 years of experience working with children in both educational and therapeutic settings. She finds great joy in watching and promoting the curiosity and wonder the children bring to school as they make new discoveries and learn new skills. She loves to see the children’s personalities blossom and help their confidence grow as they learn.
Meredith lives in Newtown with her husband and 3 children, two sons and a daughter. With a huge love for animals, she has a variety of pets including cats, chickens, pigs and frogs. Outside of school, Meredith can be found supporting her kids in their various activities. She loves to spend time outdoors, kayaking, camping and exploring nature. Meredith believes school should be a collaborative effort between teachers, students and their families to provide the best environment and outcome for the student and their needs. She is looking forward to fostering a calm, nurturing and fun classroom environment for the children, to contribute to their social, emotional and intellectual development. |
